It is with great excitement that the Xi Theta TKE Alumni Association announces the 2023 edition of Xi-Theta Homecoming! Please see the details below on our events and how to support us!

Please read on, there's a TON of content here and we would like to ensure you have an opportunity to participate!

Please reply to this email if you are planning on attending Homecoming. We would like to get a headcount.

• Homecoming weekend is on October 18-22, 2023, Wednesday (check-in) through Sunday (check-out), with the UWG tailgate and football game on the 21st.

• You will receive a "save the date" postcard in the mail - if you do not, please let me know and we can verify your address

• Your Xi-Theta Alumni Association Board Members will be hosting you all at our "base of operations" - it's the same house as last year and we're excited to see everyone again!

• We have activities planned in and around Carrollton all weekend (Facebook Events will be created for each):

• Thursday (10/19): Alumni/Undergrad Cookout - 8pm ET - Alumni House

• Friday (10/20): —Fraternity for Life Ritual - Initiated Fraters only— 7pm ET - Alumni House

• **Friday (10/20): Alumni Friends and Family Cookout - 8pm ET - Alumni House

• **Saturday (10/21): Tailgate - Xi-Theta Chapter House and UWG Stadium - 10am ET

• Saturday (10/21): Party at the Alumni House - 6pm ET

** = Family Friendly Event: Please bring your family, significant others, and children!

• The Alumni House will be open all day, every day during the weekend for drop-ins and to generally hang out. We plan to have an ongoing poker tournament starting in the afternoons each day lasting into the evening.

To support our activities, we are also excited to announce the 3rd annual fundraiser effort! We have seen two incredible years of generous giving by you all and would like to keep the movement going. Your donations not only help fund our Homecoming events but also support monthly alumni events in and around Atlanta AND the Xi-Theta Chapter!

Your generosity last year enabled us to support the following events:

• 4 days of 2022 Homecoming events + a supplement to support the cost of renting the house

• Homecoming swag - cups and phone chargers

• RLC attendance for the Xi-Theta Executive Council

• A new gazebo for the Xi-Theta chapter house backyard that provides shade and protection for outdoor events

• A scholarship for a Frater in need that allowed him to remain an active member while managing a difficult financial and personal situation

• Monthly events hosted by Michael Wilson like Marvel Movie Night(s), Brewery Meet-Ups, Concerts, and more!

In the first year, we asked 50 Fraters to give $50 in honor of the 50th anniversary of Xi-Theta's founding at West Georgia. Last year, we extended that theme to 51-for-51 and provided In Memoriam gifts to be given on behalf of Fraters who have passed into the Chapter Eternal. 

This year, we would like to continue to support Xi-Theta and you, our Alumni, and are asking that you consider giving to this year's campaign. The theme is 52 for $5200! In keeping with the prior year's themes, we would like to honor Xi-Theta's 52nd founding anniversary by raising $5200. 

We encourage you to challenge your Fraters (or pledge class, or generation) to co-sponsor these events to contribute the full amount.

• Marvel Movie @ Studio Movie Grill: The Marvels

• Alumni House Hospitality - $400

• We would like donors to contribute $400 to help support snacks and beverages throughout the weekend

• Alumni Reception - $300

• The Alumni Association would like to honor our founding members who attend this dinner by paying for their meal (and a +1) at The Border. We would like a total contribution of $300 to help cover this expense.

• Alumni/Undergrad Cookout - $300

• The Alumni Association provides food for all attendees for an evening of fun and reconnection with our undergraduate members.

• Alumni Friends and Family Cookout - $300

• For our third evening of gathering, the Alumni Association provides food for all attendees.

• Sponsor Homecoming Swag

• The Alumni Association is once again providing event memorabilia to commemorate Homecoming 2023!

• Homecoming 2023 Commemorative Stadium Cups - $350

• Homecoming 2023 Commemorative Drink Coasters - $200

• 2023 TKE Heart Stickers (back by popular demand - $150

• Sponsor Homecoming Outreach - $500

• For "save the date" postcards and other outreach efforts, we would like a total contribution of $500.

• Give $52 for 52 years

• Sustain your contribution with a recurring gift of $52

• Give an additional $52 In Memoriam for a Frater in the Chapter Eternal

• In addition to your gift, include $52 in the name of a fallen Frater. Their name will be read aloud and followed by a moment of silence and reflection during the awards ceremony on Saturday morning.

• Matching Donation

• “Chicago” set the bar in 2021 with a $2500 matching donation for the first 50 Fraters to donate $50. We encourage you to challenge your Fraters (or pledge class, or generation) to donate by offering a matching donation in any amount.
